Resident individuals are taxed only on Grenadian-source income. Foreign salary, dividends, interest, capital gains and foreign pensions are exempt regardless of remittance. The Remote Employment Act 2021 explicitly deems digital nomad permit holders non-resident for income tax and immigration purposes, eliminating exposure on foreign-source income for the duration of the permit.
Three-bracket progressive system per the Income Tax Act 1994. personal allowance (approximately USD 13,300), 15% on income from to , 30% above (approximately USD 22,200). Identical rates apply to residents and non-residents on Grenadian-source income. National Insurance Scheme adds approximately 5% employee contribution. The 30% marginal rate triggers at a low threshold by HNWI standards but applies only to local-source income.
